We recognize the Bible as the inspired word of God
and the single source for direction and truth for the Church and the
Christian life. (2 Timothy 3:16; Proverbs 30:5)
We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the one and only
Son of God; that He died for our sins and resurrected from the dead.
(John 1:1-14; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8)
We believe that there is one true God, the creator
of the universe, who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son
and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; John 1:1, 14; John 14:26; 1
Peter 1:2)
We believe that salvation is by the grace of God and
through faith in Jesus Christ's death on the cross. (Ephesians
2:8,9; Romans 5:8-11)
We practice that those wishing to identify
themselves as followers of Christ would in obedience do two things
inwardly (believe in Jesus; repent of sin) and do two things
outwardly (confess that Jesus is Lord; be baptized). (Mark
16:16; Acts 2:38; Romans 10:9-10; 1
Peter 3:21)
We observe the Lord's Supper (Communion) weekly as
the central act of Christian worship to remember the Lord's death.
(Luke 22:15-19; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
