Biographical Information on Steve Bellmore, Elder
Steve Bellmore is one of the founding members of N.H.C.C.
He has been married to his wife, Jenny since 1971. They
are the parents of four grown children. They are also the
grandparents of five.
Steve retired from Ford Motor Company (Monroe Plant) in June
2005, after 33 years.
Steve enjoys spending time with his family, Bible studies,
computers and helping people. It is his desire to build
N.H.C.C. to be all that God desires it to be. "We want to
be a people of faith who continue to grown in Gods love and
realize the incredible plan God has for each of us."
Biographical Information on Bill Welch,
Elder
Bill Welch is a 1969 graduate of Central Michigan University,
Mt. Pleasant, MI. He has taught High School for 36 years
at Lincoln Public in Ypsilanti, MI.
He and his wife, Gwen, have been married for 36 years and
have two adult children: Matthew, who is married to Amy; and
Stephanie, who is married to Mike.
Bill has taught adult Sunday School classes for approximately
30 years. He serves New Hope Christian Church with a
belief that all are welcome without judgment and as Jesus Christ
loves us, so we should love one another.
Biographical
Information on Michael Heil, Minister
Mike Heil came to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ during
the time God was moving in the lives of many young people in the
1960s and early 1970s known as the Jesus Movement. Mike
attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
In 1977 Mike traveled to India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan, where
he served as a missionary until returning to Monroe in 1991.
Mike and his wife Dolores helped to establish the mission
organization known as Vision for Asia, (http://www.vfasien.org/)
and presently serve as the US representatives for the mission.
Since 1991 Mike has served as pastor for two churches in the
Metro Detroit area and was associate pastor of another local
church before coming to New Hope Christian Church.
Mike is committed to the Lord’s work and looks forward to
sharing the Love of Christ with New Hope into the foreseeable
future.
Mike and his wife Dolores have been married for 26 years. They
have two daughters, Rosemary and Kathleen, two wonderful sons-in
law, Joe Jesky and Josh Rhoad, and two grandchildren, Evelyn and
Robert Jesky.
