Church History

New Hope Christian Church (NHCC) is a small congregation located on the North end of the city of Monroe.  This small group of believers with big hearts started the church in the Spring of 2003.  Of humble beginnings, we spent our first few months worshipping in a barn before moving to our current location at 1922 LaSalle Rd. 

NHCC is made up of families from diverse church backgrounds.  People from Catholic, Lutheran, and Presbyterian upbringings have found their way to NHCC because of our non-denominational roots.  The people that make up NHCC are a testament to our movement -- a movement whose purpose was to break down denominational walls.

Our primary purpose is to reach out to those who do not have a church home and want a relationship with Jesus Christ.  We also reach out beyond our own doors to support local and foreign missions.
